Pinot Noir has found an ideal terroir on the hillsides in Trentino and its grapes are carefully selected during harvest before being vinified. The cold maceration lasts 7/8 days in order to extract all the pronounced flavours such as red fruits with a black cherry. The alcoholic fermentation happens in stainless steel vats, while the aging. which lasts at least 10 months, is done in French oak barriques and oak casks to provide a velvety sensation on the palate.
Red ruby colour with typical brick-red hints which become more evident with aging. It has a very pronounced bouquet of red fruits, cherry in particular and jammy, with almond and vanilla notes. Can be without character if too young, it improves markedly with age to give excellent structure and velvety sensations due to the perfect harmony of the constituents.
The hills around Trento on morainal soils at altitudes between 300 and 450 meters above the sea level.
