Lagrein, mostly grown in the Vallagarina, is a grape variety whose habitat is in warm and sheltered environments because of its great sensibility to big temperature changes and abundant rain. The selected grapes produce a complex and concentrated wine full of wild berries flavours. The aging in small oak casks for at least 4 months balances the important tannins and the acidity.
Intense ruby red colour, with pronounced notes of woodland fruits (raspberry, redcurrant and black berry) and vanilla. The notable olfactory complexity is also found in the flavour, in all its fullness. A wine of great structure which is perfectly balanced, with a harmony between the tannin and acidity, which makes its soft and velvety with a lingering flavour.
The foothills enjoying the best exposure in the Adige Valley and on the Besenello fans in the Vallagarina.
Horizontal bottle in a cool and dark space.
