All the wines on sale from Cavit S.C.'s online wine store are produced by the company itself, which guarantees that they are all in full compliance with current legislation. The wines described in the online store denominated SHOP ON LINE di CAVIT may be sold and delivered only within Italy, and exclusively to persons of legal age (18 years). By using this site to make purchases, you state implicitly that you are of legal age.
All persons of legal age may purchase wine online without any obligation to register on the site or to subscribe to our newsletter unless they so expressly request. In this case, all personal data requested are necessary in order to expedite shipping and payment, and Cavit S.C. guarantees their confidentiality.
The client may choose to effect payment in one of the following ways:
- VISA or MASTERCARD credit card via the SETEFI – Banca Intesa San Paolo circuit
- Prepaid card
- Immediate bank transfer (non-revocable)
All prices are inclusive of Value-Added Tax. The cost of shipping is indicated separately during the course of the purchase process and in the invoice. All prices are subject to modification, therefore please check the final sales prices before submitting your order.
The invoice will be issued at the moment of ordering, on completion of the purchase agreement and payment. The invoice will be posted in .pdf format in the reserved personal area of the site for purchasers who have registered.
Shop On Line di Cavit ships all orders via the TNT courier service.
The shipping cost is €7 per order, except in the case of any special promotions which the Shop On Line might decide to offer in certain periods of the year. Shipping is free of charge for all orders in excess of €70. Orders will be shipped only within Italy.
The goods may also be shipped to an address other than the invoicing address; the addressee will receive the goods with the name of the purchaser (the price will not be indicated) and a greetings card if the purchaser has compiled this on the site. In all cases it is advisable to provide a telephone number for the addressee so they can be advised of the delivery.
In order to ensure that the wines are not damaged in transit and protected from changes in temperature, we have opted to use polystyrene packaging for deliveries: high-density EPS, customized using digital printing (non-toxic and odourless) and, most importantly, 100% recyclable.
Delivery times are generally 48 – 72 hours after receipt of the purchase order.

Complaints, refunds and right of withdrawal
The goods delivered should be checked immediately on arrival, and the purchaser must report any damage to the packaging directly to the courier, so that we can initiate the appropriate procedure for the replacement of the goods.

The e-mail should indicate the order number and a detailed description of the damage (we advise you to provide photographs, if possible).
If you should wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, which is governed by [Italian] Legislative Decree no. 206/05 (Consumer Code), you may do so without incurring any penalty within 14 days after receipt of the goods subject to written notice to Shop On Line di Cavit. Please note that this right, which is expressly contemplated by the so-called Consumer Code, requires that the goods be returned in the same condition as they were received. The packaging, therefore, must be undamaged. The right of withdrawal allows the purchaser to change their mind after their purchase, and is in no way connected with any aspect of the guarantee or replacement policy.
The company will not accept boxes, packaging or objects that have been utilized are are not in their original condition. Once we receive the article or articles and after checking the condition of the goods, if their condition is satisfactory as described above, we will reimburse to the purchaser the full amount relative to the goods.
